This course is designed for all personnel engaged in the operation of an EWP (elevating work platform), to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to inspect, set-up and operate an EWP in accordance with industry safety standards in preparation for the assessment to attain the required high risk work Licence.

Delivery & Duration
Three days Consisting of formative and practical training (2 consecutive days Mon & Tues) where log books will be completed. Final assessment (1 day Friday or Saturday ). All training conducted by WHS Licensed Assessor.

Class Size
Upto 8 persons for formative and practical training and upto a maximum of 4 persons only each day for assessment.
Award
Upon successful completion of the Elevated Work Platform (EWP) training and final WHSQ assessment candidates will be issued with a nationally recognised statement of attainment (SOA). TLILIC2005A Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 meters or more). Along with the assessment summary form AS1. Once you have achieved a satisfactory assessment outcome you must take the assessment summary form AS1 that will be issued along with 100 points of identification, a passport type photo and the application fee approximately $85.00 to a Qld office of Australia Post who will process the application to Workplace Health and Safety Qld who will then issue your licence

Course Requirements
Please bring a pen, notepad and current drivers licence or passport for identification purposes.
Method of Training
Formative and practical training and final assessment. On successful completion of this formative training along with completed log books the candidates ability will be assessed to ensure they are trained to the required level of competency . Readiness for assessment will be satisfied under the formal training option backed up with logbook hours from formal training.

Refresher/Update
The national EWP licence must be renewed every 5 years. We recommend a refresher/update be carried out annually
