Training For Trees Pty Ltd began its inception in 2007 in Queensland as a registered training organisation specialising in all aspects of arboricultural training. TFT was established to build on and enhance the continuing standards of arboricultural training and tree care in Australia. With a dedicated arboricultural training facility, students will have access to the latest equipment and resources enabling TFT students to graduate with a perfect blend of knowledge and practical skills to excel in the arboricultural industry.

Director of training Peter Chaffin began his career in arboriculture in 1984 when he founded P J Chaffin Tree Surgery now known as Chaffin Tree Surgery (UK). Expanding on his practical and theoretical knowledge and passion for the industry, Peter became a trainer and assessor for the UK awarding body, NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council) and was engaged in the delivery of training and assessment for Plumpton Agricultural College, Chichester University and various corporate companies and councils.
